design directions

Sculptural solitaire

A single stone held with intention. The band is part of the design - not just a carrier. Think angled shoulders, organic profiles, or a chevron cut that wraps the finger.

Cluster & scatter settings

Multiple stones arranged as a composition rather than a pattern. These feel organic, collected, and quietly unconventional.

Three-stone

A centrepiece flanked by complementary stones. Classic in structure, but the stone choices - an old-cut diamond, a teal sapphire, a pear - make it entirely yours.

Bezel setting

The stone is encircled by a rim of metal rather than prongs. Cleaner, more architectural, with the stone flush to the band.

Coloured stone centrepiece

A teal sapphire, a deep green tourmaline, a warm morganite - a coloured centrepiece makes the piece unmistakable. We source ethically and to your exact brief.

Heirloom stone, new design

Your grandmother's diamond in a ring designed in 2025. The stone carries history; the setting carries you.

stone sourcing

choosing the right stone

The stone is where a ring begins. I help you find one that fits your brief - whether that's a specific size, a particular depth of colour, or a specific origin.

Diamonds

Old-cut, round brilliant, pear, oval, and more. We source from trusted suppliers with full origin tracing and certification.

Coloured gemstones

Sapphires in teal, blue, and grey; emeralds, rubies, spinels, and tourmalines. Ethically sourced to your preferred colour and character.

Client-supplied stones

Bring in your own gem - inherited, purchased, or removed from an existing piece - and we'll build around it.

Inherited gold

Your existing gold can be refined and recast. The metal carries its story; the ring carries its future.

pricing & timelines

quoted per ring

Every engagement ring is unique, so every ring is individually quoted. I don't publish fixed prices - the right quote depends on your metal, your stone, and what the design calls for.

Once I understand your brief, I'll come back with a clear, written quote - no surprises, no hidden costs.

Typical lead time: 3-6 weeks from first consultation to delivery. Tell me your date and I'll be honest about what's achievable.

frequently asked

Yes - bring your stone in or send me the certificate and I'll design around it. I welcome client-supplied stones, including heirloom gems removed from other jewellery.

I work with trusted suppliers who provide traceability documentation. For diamonds, I can source certified stones with full origin tracing. For coloured stones like sapphires, I work with established ethical gem dealers.

Initial consultation, a full CAD design with two included rounds of revisions, and an optional wax or 3D printed mock-up. You approve everything before anything is cast.

Yes - I'm experienced with confidential commissions. I can conduct consultations discreetly, and can also include your partner in a reveal consultation once the ring is ready.

I work primarily in 18ct yellow, white, and rose gold. I can also work in platinum. I discuss metal choice during the consultation - it affects the look, durability, and feel of the piece.

Tell me your date at the enquiry stage and I'll be honest about whether it's achievable. Standard lead time is 3-6 weeks. I do take on rush commissions when the schedule allows.
